Mary Smilove
Mary opened Sweetpeas in June 2004. Her store reflects a love for vintage… paper, gifts, and home accessories. She often finds new life in old things and also incorporates her love of interior design into all aspects of Sweetpeas. Mary worked for 20 years in the retail industry creating store concepts in merchandising that are used by the industry's leaders today. Her creative work has appeared in many publications including 'Country Living' Oct 2004. She currently lives in Santa Monica with her husband Michael, two children and two dogs.

Suzi Finer
Suzi Finer has been creating art since before she could walk. A natural "quick draw" Suzi also paints murals, (but won't get on a ladder,) and sculpts, (but hates to get her hands dirty.) She doesn't like to catagorize herself as any one type of artist; she is really a renaissance girl. Suzi is a "master" cake decorator to the stars;her cake designs have appeared in the pages of People and other magazines.
Suzi taught cartooning for the City of Beverly Hills. Suzi has a passion for retail and crafts; in 2004, her shop, Suzi Finer Artworks & Artware, was awarded the national "Rubber Stampin' Retailer of the Year" title. She and her work has been featured in Pockets, Pullouts and Hiding Places (Jenn Mason for Quarry Books, 2005), The Rubber Stamper, Rubberstampmadness, Memories, Scrapbook Premier, Scrapbook Retailer, Somerset Studio, Legacy, Stamper's Sampler and Take Ten.

She has designed a line of rubber stamps (Audmatic) and scrapbook papers (Design Originals & Anacapa Press) and has produced a line of snacks as well. She currently runs Sweetpeas and Snapshots in West Los Angeles; a destination paper arts, rubber stamp and altered art shop, where Suzi can be found teaching myriad workshops and demonstrating all types of art techniques to shoppers. She lives in Beverly Hills, California, with her husband and two children.

Tanja Maduzia
Tanja does double duty here at Sweetpeas as both resident artist and social butterfly. She makes cards, instructs classes and is more than happy to engage you in lively conversation or tell an animated story. Being born into the small family business life in her hometown of Seattle she has made her life here at Sweetpeas a familiar one. This place has become her home away from home.

Norman Dixon
Norman Dixon is a local artist and owner of a successful handmade greeting card business called "It's in the Cards". His handmade cards are sold in shops and boutiques around southern California. Norman was also recently featured on the HGTV show Crafters Coast To Coast.
